Mohammed Shami Directed to Pay Rs 4 Lakh Per Month to Wife, Daughter After Court Scrutiny

Indian pacer Mohammed Shami has been asked by the Calcutta High Court to pay Rs 4 lakh per month as maintenance to his estranged wife Hasin Jahan and daughter. This order followed a lengthy legal struggle and was viewed as a sizeable improvement from the previous amount of Rs 1.30 lakh which had been adjudicated in 2023 by a district sessions court.
