Royal Challengers Bengaluru Sweep Kolkata Knight Riders Under the Carpet in One-Sided Spectacle

Virat Kohli, playing his game as ever, led the chase with a masterful half-century. His aggressive but unflustered innings kept RCB in safe waters during the run chase. Salt, who shared the stage with Kohli with his big-hitting stroke play, also reached his fifty, tightening RCB's hold on the game even further. Their bowling also lacked penetrative abilities to counter RCB's in-form batsmen, and it was a disappointing show overall by the hosts.

It is a monolith confidence booster for Royal Challengers Bengaluru on the season's opening day. The sweep of the victory says a lot about the solidity and depth of the team.
